Charlie, stricken with a toothache, and fearing a trip to the dentist, dictates his Last Will and Testament. Edgar finds Mortimer has been wearing a blindfold since attending a Halloween party. Charlie goes under the dental anesthetic and dreams he's died and gone down to "Heck", where he meets the Vice President of Heck, Fred Allen.
