On a dark and stormy night, Eddie Bracken is reading a horror story to Dorothy Lamour until they get frightened by it. They turn on the radio to liven things up, when they hear a news report about a murderer in the area, then suddenly, there's a knock on the door.  They open it to find Boris Karloff.
