(5 stars; 3 reviews)

Written by Paul LeDoux, "The Old Guy" follows Charlie McCann, a retired Toronto Police detective who lives with an ancient cat. Charlie is a polite, awkward widower running a clock repair shop, and he seems content to become a museum of himself.

When called back to handle delicate, unsolved cases, Charlie discovers that everything has changed in the multicultural city of Toronto. Despite the shifts in society, his unique perspective and experience make him an effective policeman.
