This book made me go into soft and happy reveries towards a kinder, simpler yet physically harsher world than what we have now. The choices made by the characters in these stories teaches how one can live a compassionate and moral life. I anm quite pleased to have found this book by Louisa May Alcott in Librivox

Wonderful colection of love stories. I best liked the Red stockings! And Letty ' s tramp, could have been developed into a wonderful and touching story, pity it was s-o short.
