Some of the best episodes of the series
TonyPS214
I give this particular season high marks because, even though in my opinion expanding the format from half an hour to one hour doesn't always work in keeping a listener engrossed in the story, the stories in this season and the performances in them certainly kept ME listening! For me, the best stories in this season were: Wet Saturday/August Heat" "The Kandy Tooth Caper" (this one because I am a fan of the "Sam Spade" series and because it was an excellent sequel to THE MALTESE FALCON), "Love's Lovely Counterfeit (Humphrey Bogart is great!), "Sorry Wrong Number" (for obvious reasons), "The Lodger" and "Donovan's Brain".

I'm really enjoying listening to my favorite old time radio series grouped together by year. I notice you have also supplied different and I assume corrected episode titles, and maybe even episodes that are not on the 1942-62 single episodes page. Thank you !! A fan in Seattle
