A collection of ten pieces, read by various readers, about the unreal edges of this world in legend and story; tales of love, death and beyond. One of my favorites :-)

(4 stars)

My favorite stories were Man-size in Marble (favorite reader too) and The Judge's House. This was my first Librivox experience and I still come back to it. I don't mind individual reader's accents or attempts, at least they're trying to make it interesting... But I can't give it 5 stars because s few of the stories' readers are much too quiet / volume changes low to loud too often to make the story enjoyable.

I have never had nor listened to audio books I am very pleased

I do not have the patience I'm sorry to say to sit and read I'm very pleased to enjoy the book being read to me extraordinary 10 stars wouldn't be enough to describe my feeling thank you

Not a great, but ok as far as the story on empty house... had a really hard time with the narrator. Some pretty poor and unnecessary "accents" are attempted which sort of ruins it.

Chilling yet Romantic

Peter Yearsley has a deep, mysterious and perfectly fitting voice for this short ghost story! Please take less than 10 minutes from your day to enjoy it!

I cant believe what happened to Malcolm malcolmson in the judges house. Bram stoker is a great author. had a tear in my eye :(

Good reader

Well read but not that gripping a story. The stars are for the reader not the story.

great to get through a slow night
