Holmes is a man of many facets, and I do not share the common perception of Holmes as cold and humourless: his sense of fun can be sparkling, and there are moments of rare pathos. just listened to one read by David Clarke so maybe that affected it or maybe it was just the book or if it was the reader I'm not sure. other than that I only listened for maybe 10 minutes other than that it was fine😊
