The reader does not interpret the French quotes by other painters into English.
MaoTampa loved this recording!
Therefore, I stopped listening and of course, realize this is how the Book was written. I also realize this is free to the public But I’m also free to find books that are in English! What’s the most interested in hearing this book as I commute throughout the city and on long trips. I’m very disappointed. But I do appreciate the effort, efforts and energy for those who are freely giving their time to read the book to us.
Very revealing...

I really loved every minute of this. Though I had already known bits and pieces of van Gogh's life it had so much more meaning to hear it in his words. The narrators also did a wonderful job.
great letters. reading varies
Patrick Richardson
i found these letters an amazing look into Van Gogh not covered in the art history books. The reading is by a variety of people and the quality varied.
work of art

surprisingly good, I thought this would be boring but it turned out to be as much a work of art as Vincent's actual art 🤔
Very instructive on art
