Radio changed boring car rides into exciting adventures for me as a kid. I remember Hop, Jimmy Allen, Tom Swift and Sky King, but most of all it was Hop Harrigan who said anything was possible. Full of action, adventure, & mystery, Hop sprinkled aviation facts/history throughout the show and actively recruited kids to become flyers. Although I never became a pilot, my daughter may, I like to think Hop encouraged her to try. Enjoy the Nostalgia & the History. Stonie1914

The episodes are out of order, episodes from one story are mixed in with a different story causing confusion as to what the listener is hearing and ruining the continuity of each story! however i enjoy this program and the infusion of aviation history and interesting information about different aircraft and people involved in aviation history!
