This fantastic show suffers from one main malady: that its producers wanted a Thin Man kind of banter but weren't sure how to do it. So along about the 15th episode, the comic attempts were discarded, leaving a more common, but more professionally performed, drama series. IIt ranks as one of the best of the OTR shows available for those who like mysteries.
