This upload contains 434 shows from the great Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding. Files consist of episodes from their early days in Boston (Matinee with Bob and Ray), Bob and Ray Present the CBS Radio Network, and shows from their time on NBC and Mutual/WOR. Also included are compilation recordings. Overall the duo entertained American audiences together for nearly half a century. The dates, episode numbers where available, and titles are believed to be correct based on available information, but any corrections are welcome. Initial upload: April 2020 (430 episodes) 1st update: 6/26/2020 (1 episode) 2nd update: 3/21/2021 (3 episodes: 9/5/1949, 9/7/1949, 10/3/1949) Disclaimer: By uploading these files, I make no claim to ownership or copyright. These recordings have been acquired from publicly available sources on the Internet, and my goal has been to put together a collection of every available episode where possible. I will add to these collections if I discover new episodes or if any new episodes become available. Praises to who worked so hard to put this up. so many people today think that this kind of comedy was invented with Monte Python or SNL. Bob and Ray were subtle, absurd, meta-entertainers and just genius! Unfortunately so much of this will be lost on people who insist on seeing moving images on a screen in order to take in the content of the great writing and performing. Question: Please I am looking for two episodes that I used to have in my collection: are you familiar with 1) the sketch where Mary Backstayge is on a train, and then the train get's hijacked by some strange robbers. 2) Mary Backstayge get's stuck in an old castle that is sort of like Dracula's - there the boys are forced to eat a strange breakfast with spaghetti and pancake parmesian. then they are forced to listen to strange organ music. could you point me in the direction where to find these sketches? thanks you are the best for posting these!!

Well, I've just gotten to this fine site and treasure trove (I feel like I should be wearing pirate gear for the buried treasure chest this is...)
