Lewis Carroll

Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, was written in 1872 and it finds Alice in a land when she walks through a mirror into the Looking-Glass House. The land is full of mythological creatures and characters and nursery rhyme characters. Alice makes a guest appearance in a bizarre game of chess with Humpty Dumpty! A charming, witty story! Chapter six sounds like someone who can't speak English trying to read the book aloud with a mouthful of syrup. Other than that, the readers are good, and I've always loved this book.
Chapter 6

I really enjoyed listening to this book however, the reader in chapter six made it very hard to concentrate as I was constantly trying to understand what the reader was saying as the accent was very thing and it wasn’t very fluent. But, the other readers were very clear and fluent. Please fix this problem.
Great except chapter 6

Chapter six sounds like someone who has trouble reading in general. The accent is horrible and there is no articulation or intonation! Please fix this!

Too many cooks ruin the soup, and so does one bad reader. Wasn't particularly fond of the reader changing, and as everyone else has pointed out the woman on chapter six is dreadful to listen to. Finally found someone who is a worse narrator than Stephen King reading one of his own books!
Well done except chapter 6.

Had to read this as it is in my syllabus. Chose to listen instead, kind of boring for me you know I'm literally 19 and this is a book for small children. Nevertheless, some under-lying messages in this are thought provoking indeed and there are quite a few ways to interpret the whole thing, that is what kept it a little interesting! All the chapters were well read more or less, 4 Stars. Though the person who read the last chapter had quite a sleepy voice, kept getting lost
