Green Valley Railroad

tangledweb
A newspaper article from the Vallejo Times Herald May 5, 1974, referenced an article from the Vallejo Chronicle of January 11, 1912, that the Southern Pacific and the Vallejo and Northern Railroad considered building the (5 mile long) Green Valley Railroad from Cordelia to a municipal rock quarry on the Dug Creek Road in upper Green Valley, but that the railroad was never built. I don't know whether the radio program is referring to this specific rail line.
Wholesome Old Time Entertainment

goobermensch
A small railroad line that is the lifes blood of Green Valley resists being swallowed by Big Business operation. The unlikely hero is the idealistic son of a major shareholder who wants to sell-out. Our hero sounds like Dudley DoRight when he speaks-- without the least trace of irony. This is a refreshing bit of nostalgia. Lots of dramatic elements done in primary emotions. Nothing subtle here. But it's a lot of innocent fun.
episode 27?

T28
I'm very interested in finding the continuation of the Green Valley Line that starts with episode 27 as explained at the end of episode 26. I very much enjoyed this story and would like to hear the next phase, hopefully someone here will have the needed knowledge and same interest in finding part two. Also i would like to know the names of the players!
Thanks

I listened to the episodes in quick succession and I really enjoyed them. Pure corn from a more innocent time. Many thanks to the people who uploaded these OTRs and thank you KIBM internet radio for the many quality links. Dave Stones

According to the announcer, at the end of the last episode, there is a "second chapter" to the series - hope someone finds it and uploads it
