"Meet Mr McNutley" is a delightful Old Time Radio situation comedy that aired on CBS Radio from September 17, 1953, to June 10, 1954. The show features the charmingly absent-minded Professor Ray McNutley, played by Ray Milland, and his ideal wife, Mrs. Peggy McNutley, portrayed by Phyllis Avery. Set in the fictitious Lynnhaven College for girls, the series offers a humorous glimpse into their lives.
Although the radio show lasted only one season, it successfully transitioned to television, where it continued under the name "The Ray Milland Show." The TV adaptation introduced some changes, including a new name for the main character, who became Mr. McNulty, a drama teacher at Comstock University.
