Ann Radcliffe has been called the "Great Enchantress" of her age and this is one of her finest novels. Supernatural eerie thrills, midnight explorations of draughty corridors and mysterious partly burned notes all play their parts. An entertaining story

I enjoyed this a lot. Not as creepy as I was expecting. I found the verses pleasant also. The readers all did a fine job, thank you. When certain hidden info was being revealed later on, I was a little confused and will have to go back to clear it up, but it was probably because I was distracted that I misunderstood the info revealed.
