A wonderful, thoughtful and engrossing but brutal story. I found myself instantly drawn in. It is very well written and equally well narrated by the author. That combination always leads to such an enjoyable experience for the listener. This is my first selection by the author-- definitely not my last. Kudos.

Mary you are a great story teller. I absolutely was enveloped in the story. so many surprises and twists, keeps you on the edge. Really cared about the characters. Annie was a great central character to base the plot around. Good job!
