Almost Perfect

A collection of short stories showing a normal housewife who turns into a criminal for her husband, stays criminal for a while longer because she's turned bitter, & then starts to help people she feels deserves it. I kept listening & didn't want it to end. The only negative was that the same detective kept showing up in each story. He wasn't always looking for Constance either. This wouldn't happen even twice in NYC during these types of situations. Still, it's worth 5 stars to me despite this.

I mistakenly reviewed this before thinking it was something else, when actually I hadn't listened to it. Well, Im glad I finally realized my mistake and got to enjoy these light yet compelling antiheroine mini sagas. Everyone one of them was interesting and thought provoking. Thank you to a terrific reader and book selector, J.M. Smallheer
Gotta Admire Constance…

I find myself thinking about this character and the book itself quite a lot. It gripped me. It was a very memorable read with an unusual premise. I think it was a clever book and I really sympathized with the heroine who is actually a little bit of an anti- heroine.
Unvarnished crime stories

Unvarnished crime stories that rival that of today's most sensational headlines. Had the author developed the characters a little, these stories would be truly great. Each tale is about 35-45 mins long. The narrator is flawlessly engaging.
She wins again!

The stories of Craig Kennedy and Constance Dunlap are closely related yet crafted so genuinely apart. Arthur B Reeve such an intelligent writer to use science for Kennedy then critical thinking with Dunlap. So enjoyable....

A wonderfully well narrated anthology of mysteries. Each tale a bit more hokey than the previous. It's all great good fun. enjoy,,,
