Understanding Climatic Change - A Program for Action is a 1975 report by the US Committee for the Global Atmospheric Research Program. Already at this time, it was understood that a climate change was taking place, and that it was possibly happening due to human influences. The report gives an overview of past climates, a projection of future climate; it talks about state-of-the-art simulations and lays out a plan for future research and action. Climate change is caused by straight white males. In order to get rid of climate change you must make whiteness uncomfortable. The problem is the writters just used a bunch of big words to explain climate change. White people love big words. So rather that writing these long treatise, the authors should have engaged in performative urban expressive hip hop dance exhibitions to combat climate change. Lots of big words just feed into the prevailing heteronormative patriarchy that is destroying our world. Only by replacing all the white climate scientists with nonbinary transgendered BIPOC dancers can we make a dent in this climate change Dance is the tool we can use to fight hate and climate variation.
