I cannot express sufficiently my appreciation of this reading and the wonderful author as well. What a happy combinationAnd what a gift for fans of English literature of the Edwardian fin du ciecle.

What a story. It was ful of double innuendo, double talk & double trouble. All because a young girl was emphatically changing her mind, her story & believing whatever a tramp type person told her. Still, lots of intertwined folk mostly meaning well.

Finally, a mystery. I wish I could listen to a new one evey day; ok week. Even if they are as predictable as this story was. Hopefully read by one of my favorite "narrators". Thanks for the fix.
