I love “Kirk’s voice”. If I wanted to just relax with his slow deep mellow tones he could read me the phone directory. It’s easy listening, not high drama. The unfortunate thing is that so many of these stories are just plain weak. Ghost stories work on building tension and then a gripping reveal. Most of these have none of that and worse, no actual ending with half or more ending with “and nobody ever did find out what happened “! But I listened on a long car journey so I could have Kirk’s voice keep me company through hours of dark raining motorway and he did me proud

I am a paranormal investigator & not every situation is explainable or paranormal. These are good examples of both.... and ghosts are real as are demons.

Not the best written stories from what I heard. I stopped listening because the narrator was mispronouncing words and spoke without inflection.

Enjoyed the collection. While the tone is sometimes quite mechanical, I enjoyed the colonial stories.
