Although I was late in life discovering old time radio, I erroneously assumed that in the ten years of my listening to various OTR shows of every description that I would have known of them all- Nope, I just barely caught on to "VIc & Sade". OK so they're funny like how Fargo was funny but VIc & Sade have a bit more sophistication in the humor than does "Fargo", but how for me to describe is beyond my ken. 06-17-1940 "Mr Sludge Sleeps Over"- in my opinion one of if not the most funny episode of V & S: "There, there now- DON'T cry Mr Sludge.. there there... " If you hear just one episode, hear that one. "Mr Sludge" being a rather effeminate, or "something" - he weeps at the drop of a hat. "Rush", Vic 'n' Sades' adopted teenage son shares an anecdote of how he witnessed Sludge sobbing & crying at the grocery store for being chastised by a grocery employee (apparently Sludge had mistaken one of the stores' cookies as being a part of a free sample/tasting event). Sludge was invited to sleep on the Gook's davenport that night, he was too afraid to sleep all alone in his rented room, as all the other residents gone on visits elsewhere that night. Sade calls him and has a hard time getting a hold of him, finally he answers - in tears- takes the Gook's up on their offer to spend the night with them, but he also asks if he can have use of their kitchen sink, as he "has a few things he needs to rinse out". Oh it's out of this world hilarious. I am so grateful for the uploaders, and collectors of old time radio programming- to share these with us.

If that’s suppose to be funny then I’ve lost the plot. It’s got to be one of the most boring things I have ever heard on LibriVox. None of them can read or Act. 😟😔😟😔😟
