Absolutely brilliant writing, marvelous performers, and delight for all ages. Vic and Sade is overwhelmingly good. I haven't heard any of these later episodes yet, and I"m looking forward to it eagerly. "Vic and Sade" is a bit like "Waiting for Godot," with profound insights and dazzling jumps of focus, but it's also hilarious, unlike Godot. (Did Ostragon ever yearn for a hat with a wide brim?) The humor in V&S ranges from dry and subtle to side-slapping, and the real genius is that it SOUNDS so perfectly ordinary in tone. This show is a gem, honestly.
Great stuff

few of these I'd not heard before (1943,Brainfeeble housewarming? and Chuck/Dottie wash dishes I think) I haven't warmed to the later "Russell" episodes so I only go up to about 1943 on Vic n Sades. There are some with bad audio, but I think they're the only ones in circulation. I would rather hear poor audio than listen to very digitally enhanced/altered/"cleaned up" files anyway. Thanks for these!!! I download shows and upload to my Sansa media player. Listen to them all night.
