Yes it's alittle grainy in parts but, the rich layers of sound effects, background scores and well know actors breathing life into each character it's a captivating listen.

This is the best audiobook that I ever listened to cause it has so much detail in the voices and music in the background

Fun, yet outdated

(3.5 stars)

It’s an interesting story, yet not without complications. This radio show somehow manages to contain FAR MORE outdated expressions and words than the original stories, despite these broadcasts streaming NEAR THE END / AFTER the original stories were written. Overall, however, there are some episodes that are still fairly family-friendly, but… It’s not in any way guaranteed family fun here. The story titled Sherlock Holmes V. Dracula, however, is still child-safe (and surprisingly serious, considering the name)! I would recommend finding an audiobook of just that one recording.

I love these broadcasts

Thankyou to the Archivists who collected and protected these recordings. They are wonderful to listen to in this year 2024
