This is not a review; it is a question. Is there some way to indicate authors of stories in a collection such as this?……. I’ve just finished a different LibriVox selection (“Hilda Wade, A Woman of Purpose”), and I have become interested in hearing more work by its author (Grant Allen, an author new to me). In searching for other work by this writer, I discovered the above collection listed. Fresh curiosity was bubbling!! Some clearly articulated questions had been forming in my mind, and around that nucleus there swirled a thick mist of less defined “wonderings” which hadn’t yet condensed into specific questions. While this all was richly present, I was hoping to connect with a short story by the author, since this day’s remaining bits and pieces of listening time would not permit me to appreciate a full-length book. With this in mind, I was hoping to encounter a list of Authors and their Shortstory Titles, all neatly lined up in ranks at the tail-end of the description you write for each book. In future, might you offer an overview list of AUTHOR….TITLE for multi-author collections? Thank you for this amazing library of audiobooks! In it I find such respite, such renewal, so many portals to ever-unfolding new worlds I can explore. Am most grateful to all who make this possible!!(5-9-25)
