D-Day: 6 June 1944. The date of the invasion of the Normandy Coast of France by the Allies. This novel gives a different look at that invasion than most of us have ever seen. It tells of a young French boy, André Gagnon, and his exciting adventures as he helps the Maquis (the French Underground fighting the Germans), a shot down British airman, and the American soldiers in their successful attempt to liberate France from German occupation. An entertaining and informative family friendly tale. - Summary by Wayne Cooke (3 hr 27 min)

Reseñas

true history.

(5 stars)

I really enjoyed hearing the story the characters were so well defined. The running dialogue and dialect will keep you listening tightly. If a dialect is done well it adds to the story. It wrapped up well with a good ending.

The book was good. The reading not all so clear.

A touching warm story during WW II.
