the characters felt unique and independent of each other. the story kept me interested the entire time. mysteries have payoffs that lead to new mysteries with new payoffs. Very enjoyable way to spend your time.

A cold war classic of optimistic scifi.

I really enjoyed the early parts of this story, it was building up some interesting themes and the reading is good and brings it well to life. Sadly the ending felt hurried and I would have enjoyed hearing more depth and detail and maybe another couple of chapters to develop the ending better.
