Death Below the Dam
Esther Haven Fonseca
Lu par Mark Nelson

The body was found at five-thirty of a dark March morning, hanging head down in a tree, ten feet from the ground. There was a small, clean bullet hole in the back of the head, but there was no blood visible. It had been washed away, all of it, and even the garments that covered the cold limbs were dripping wet.

this is the most rambling, inane 'who dunnit' I have ever read. It wasn't even funny. Not even Mark Nelson could make it shine. He did an excellent job as usual and the four stars are all his.
