The News Huddlines - Series 47

The News Huddlines is a British sketch-based radio comedy series that humorously examines the lighter side of the week's news. Comedian Roy Hudd, along with June Whitfield and Chris Emmett, takes a satirical look at current events, delivering topical sketches, songs, and one-liners.

Running from 1975 until 2001, the series produced a total of 51 series over 26 years. Each half-hour episode is crafted in a traditional British comedy style, often aimed at an older audience, with every gag culminating in a recognizable punchline. The sketches frequently feature public figures, characterized in exaggerated and fanciful ways, providing a humorous take on the news.
