It's incredible to believe that Fibber is 85 here. His timing and voice are just the same as they were in the 30s and 40s.

How fitting it must have been to hear Jim Jordan reprise Fibber McGee on the Christmas 1981 broadcast for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service. To bad, Marian Jordan could not have been at the microphone with him. The world is a lesser place without them, now.
