Studio One is a dramatic anthology series presenting a different story in each broadcast. Its productions draw on a wide range of material, including adaptations of novels and plays, original dramas, mysteries, and stories of suspense.
Each installment unfolds as a self-contained radio play, using actors, dialogue, music, and sound effects to bring its story to life. The title here, Dodsworth, identifies the featured work; the series format places it among varied dramatic presentations rather than a continuing serial with one central cast.
Studio One is known for polished, ambitious radio drama, with performances and sound design shaped to make the most of the medium. Its anthology approach offers listeners a chance to encounter a complete story in a single broadcast, moving between literary adaptations and other dramatic forms.
