Bell Telephone Hour
von
The Bell Telephone Hour is a concert program devoted to classical music, presented on radio and later television. Its performances bring orchestral and vocal music into a broadcast setting, with guest artists featured alongside established ensembles.
This recording is identified with pianist Grant Johannesen. The program offers a chance to hear a featured performer in a formal concert context, where the music itself takes center stage rather than a spoken narrative or dramatic plot.
The experience is polished and concert-oriented, suited to listeners who enjoy classical performance and the immediacy of hearing musicians presented for a broad radio audience.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
