Kenny Everett's Christmas Selection Box
BBC Radio Drama
by
Kenny Everett's Christmas Selection Box is a BBC radio comedy special built around the comic world of Kenny Everett. Its title suggests a festive assortment of material, offering a seasonal setting for Everett's distinctive comic sensibility.
Everett was known for an exuberant, character-driven style that moved between sketches, comic voices, and playful absurdity. The selection-box format frames the program as a variety of comic pieces rather than a single continuous story, with the pleasure coming from the shifts in tone and the surprises of the performance.
The result is a light, irreverent Christmas listen, suited to listeners who enjoy British radio comedy and Everett's energetic, offbeat humor.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
