Meet Mr. McNutley
McNutley's Vacation Plans
von
Meet Mr. McNutley is a radio comedy centered on Ray McNutley, a college professor whose good intentions and earnest approach to life often lead him into comic complications. His wife, Peggy, provides a contrasting perspective as the couple navigates the small domestic and professional dilemmas that shape their life together.
The program draws its humor from the collision between McNutley’s academic habits and everyday situations. Episodes bring the professor’s work, marriage, and social world into play, turning familiar concerns into lighthearted comedy. The series is built around character and dialogue, with the central couple’s differing temperaments giving its situations their spark.
Warm and gently comic, Meet Mr. McNutley offers an easygoing portrait of married life and the foibles of an absent-minded professor. This recording is titled “McNutley’s Vacation Plans,” suggesting a domestic comedy focused on the couple’s plans for time away.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
