Anthology
Dr. Faustus
von
An anthology presentation of Dr. Faustus, the story of a scholar who makes a pact with the devil. The title points to the enduring tale of ambition, forbidden knowledge, and the consequences of trading one’s soul for power.
Presented as a radio drama, this recording offers the story through spoken performance rather than narration alone. Its subject lends itself to a serious, supernatural atmosphere, with the central bargain and its moral stakes at the heart of the listening experience.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
