Ben Bernie and His Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra

Were Your Ears Burning, Baby

English · Music, Radio

Ben Bernie and His Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra bring the sound of a popular dance orchestra to this radio performance. Led by bandleader Ben Bernie, the program centers on the ensemble’s music, with the title identifying “Were Your Ears Burning, Baby” as the featured selection.

Listeners can expect an early radio presentation shaped around the orchestra rather than a narrated story: the band’s performance is the main attraction, offering a snapshot of the dance-band style associated with Bernie and his Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra.

The appeal lies in hearing the ensemble’s period sound and Bernie’s bandleader presence in a concise broadcast performance. It suits listeners interested in vintage popular music and the orchestras that brought it to radio audiences.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
