The Lineup
The Phantom Burglar

The Lineup is a police procedural set in San Francisco, following Lieutenant Ben Guthrie and Inspector Matt Grebb as they investigate crimes and work to identify the people responsible. The series draws its title from the police lineup, a reminder that solving a case depends on careful observation as well as legwork.
Episodes unfold as crime dramas, moving from the discovery or report of an offense through interviews, clues, and the detectives’ pursuit of suspects. The police work gives the stories a grounded, investigative focus, while the city provides a vivid setting for cases involving different corners of urban life.
With its direct storytelling and emphasis on methodical investigation, The Lineup offers the pleasures of classic radio crime drama: tense questioning, accumulating evidence, and the steady progress toward a solution. This recording is titled “The Phantom Burglar.”
