Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters is a Western radio adventure series centered on the fictionalized cowboy Tom Mix. Its stories draw on the familiar world of the American West, with Mix and his companions facing dangers and helping people in need.
The program presents its adventures as radio drama, using dialogue, narration, and sound effects to bring the action to life. The episode title, “Bay of Whales,” suggests a setting or adventure associated with that place, while the series’ broader appeal lies in its mix of frontier action and straightforward storytelling.
Listeners can expect an old-fashioned Western atmosphere shaped for the imagination: a resourceful hero, a sense of danger, and the brisk, dramatic style of a serialized radio adventure.
