Jeff Regan, Investigator
par
Jeff Regan, Investigator follows a Los Angeles private detective whose cases take him into the city’s shadowy corners. Regan is a tough, resourceful investigator, hired to untangle problems that can involve blackmail, missing people, suspicious deaths, and other complications.
The program is a radio detective drama, built around Regan’s investigations and the people he encounters along the way. Listeners follow the clues as he questions suspects, weighs conflicting accounts, and works toward a solution, with narration and dialogue carrying the action.
Its appeal lies in the combination of hard-boiled mystery and a capable, streetwise central character. The title also identifies Tom Dorwin, the performer associated with this version of the series, whose delivery gives Regan a direct, assured presence.
