these are great fairy stories, some of the best of the entire collection. please know that all libravox readers should be commended and appreciated, although i am urged by integrity to say though that IMHO some of the readers unfortunately seem rather unpracticed at reading (thus begging one to wonder why on earth they choose to read for libravox?) and that most people in general read these types of stories without truly comprehending the content or without an actual sense of antiquity or a cultural awareness of the settings or time and circumstances these stories were originally told. to some this may seem pompous or to be but picky trifles, but without these certain understandings the stories cannot convey the feelings and mythos they were originally created to impart and pass along. I fear our modern society may now have been bereft of mythos for far too long to recover and as a result humanity may only to continue to grow more and more destitute. Again this is only IMO of course. Allan David Carroll
