Hilariously Delightful

A delightful collection of stories of a mischievious school girl and her comrades. Jean Webster's dry wit had me laughing out loud with gems such as "Patty's only intention had been to [tell their situation directly], but Patty was incapable of approaching any matter by the direct route when a labyrinth was also available." This book would make an excellent read-aloud for a family or classroom.

Mischievous Patty would be a more apt name for the book and its sequel. The stories will keep you laughing and wondering from chapter to chapter what Patty is going to be up to next. The reader does a great job!
