Mr. Wicker's Window (Version 2)
Carley Dawson
Lu par Arthur Piantadosi

When Christopher Mason walked into Mr. Wicker's antique shop, he had no idea he would soon be embarking on a marvellous journey to China to find a wonderful tree made of jewels. He had no idea that Mr. Wicker was a magician and could travel through time. And that the tree was sought by others, not least among them the murderous Claggett Chew, a merchant in port and a pirate on the high seas, who also had knowledge of magic. But before Chris succeeded in quest, he would know of all these things and more. And of Mr. Wicker's friends, the sailor Ned Cilley, Becky Boozer, and the African boy Amos, changed from wood to flesh. And Christopher Mason would never be same, after. Critiques
Not my type o hype

Mr. Wicker is a time-travelling wizard who finds a protege after some searching to help in the past. The premise is sound, but I just didn't care for the story, it is not my genre I guess. The reader is very good. He is expressive, and clearly gets into the story line. He stumbles a little here and there, but his enthusiasm more than makes up for it. I have to say, I really wanted to like this story, but it just wasn't to my liking. Kudos to the reader tho, I will be looking for other books he read.
A bit hard to understand

Sorry Arthur but I can't understand you half the time. U are very enthusiastic but not very clear which is a pity cos u make the story great with the characters u take on. Might I suggest speaking the words a bit clearer? It would make a huge difference.
