Critiques
Bravo from Borneo

Lord Jim
Very enjoyable and engaging story written in the best traditions of Center of the Earth books. It was made all the better by the narrator whose voice and particular cadence suited the writing style of this early 1930s novel.
Typical old time sci-fi

Karebil
Exceptional reading by Mr Kilmer. Story is an "us" against "them" with setbacks and creativity to overcome the "evil" ones. Definitely worth listening to.

First off, Richard Kilmer as always, gives an amazing performance. This is a wonderful twist on the whole center of the earth idea. Plus the hero saves the world, makes a pile of money and gets the girl. Love it. I don't understand all the praise but people can't give a full load of stars. Come on folks, this is old time sci-fi what's the point in over analyzing it. 070325
Does what it says on the tin I suppose

A LibriVox Listener
Well read a good voice for these stories. Story itself, all a bit predictable being like many others of this genre. Also a bit slow for my tastes. Edgar Rice Burroughs it is not. That said I enjoyed it.
GREAT ADVENTURE

AVID READER
Too often, scifi becomes too involved with super rays or whatever to maintain a cohesive plotline. Not so, this one. The futuristic weapons consist only of two types, so the adventure becomes the real thing. Very enjoyable.
Good story

Seven Archers
A little different and a little more modern then all the other stories of this genre. A fun short "read" Mr. Kilmer does a great job of reading as usual, thank you sir for your work.
good premise

I liked the story but the authors style of writing I feel didn't suit the narrator, who I do like. This made it difficult for me to follow whilst working.
good read

John Zomok
I don't know if its better then J. Verne ....but I do know it's a great hollow Earth story with a hero that gets the girl and overcomes the odds.
