The proud, cruel and arrogant Mrs. Rayland never married. Therefore, "Rayland Hall", the old Manor House of the title, had to pass to their heir, Somerive, whom they never treated kindly. Holy melodrama!

Not a bad story. Dragged a lot in the middle. The reader of the middle section made so many mispronounciations that it became annoying. Still, a pretty good story. Don't know what other reviewer means by a reader being too close to the mic. Maybe that part was redone.
