Critiques
US Navy 1812-1814

Rick Leaumont
Excellent reader. Best part of book last 2 chapters on Battle of New Orleans. Best to have knowledge of naval terms and gunnery in the age of sail. Author goes into detail on ship tonnage, number of guns and weight of broadsides. Many may find book goes into to much detail. Don’t give up without skipping to Battle of New Orleans in last 2 chapters.

Very long, but the stories are interesting, stories told from many perspectives. I've listened to it twice, & am looking forward to a third time.
