Critiques

Humorous throughout

(4 stars)

What do you do when put into a very embarrassing situation, and the only way of dignified escape means causing a stranger injury? And what if that stranger isn't a stranger after all? A pleasing little bit of humor, well read by Arnold Banner. The twist can be seen a mile away, but it was a fun listen nonetheless.

Highly amusing! I agree with an earlier reviewer who thought this would make a good family movie. It would need to be set in the time period though.

Delightful

Although it wasn't difficult to figure who was who, following the dénouement through was charming and amusing. Beautifully read by Arnold.

Embarassing incident turns into a funny story

I found it too difficult to sympathize very much with any character. Still, it is kind of an interesting story. Not much material though, and it gets spread rather thinly.

fun story, great narrator

I enjoyed this fun story very much! The narrator was very clear and easy to follow. I'll look for more books/stories narrated by him.
