Oddly enough I had to agree with most of the things the book said, except it should be applied to both men and women. This is obviously aimed at people of means.

"When speaking to a gentleman, speak as though there were another lady in the room." " When speaking with ladies, speak as though there were a gentleman in the room." You are never better dressed than when others do not remember what you were wearing. Some have a habit of buying whatever they want simply because it's available (without considering what looks best on you). 2017 truths!
