First heard Peter Tucker's skillful reading in Dante's Commedia...the right voice, pace and word/syllable emphasis makes listening and understanding so much easier. Tucker is superb.

The Book of Job

Excellent reader! What a story of the unsearchable ways of God, and men trying to make sense of things beyond their reason. They spoke many foolish things as a result, but when God Himself came down, they could only be silent. But he forgave Job for his foolishness and vindicated him in his virtue, and again blessed him beyond measure. I enjoy the poetry and wording.

Great British accented reader, almost professional quality. Can blame him for the fact that Job, at least in the KJV, is nearly incomprehensible to me.

I have listened to Dramatisation version and after this one version 2 and it is obvious Version 2 is better in every way!
