Plum House - A BBC Radio comedy
Ben Cottam et Paul McKenna
Plum House is a delightful radio comedy that takes you into the world of the inept staff at a historic house. Set in the picturesque Lake District, this charming tale revolves around the former country home of the terrible poet George Pudding, which is now a crumbling museum struggling to stay afloat.
With an eccentric curator, Peter Knight, played by Simon Callow, the museum faces the challenge of survival. Tom Collyer, sent from the Trust, must navigate the quirky team, including the out-of-touch deputy Julian, the profit-driven gift shop manager Maureen, and the oblivious maintenance man Alan. Can they save Plum House from decline?
